Mrs. Brown has
extensive experience in social services with a proven track
record of improving the lives of seniors. Throughout her
social services career, she has been driven to help people
function the best way they can in their environment, and
solve personal and family problems. She has often been
confronted with clients who face a life-threatening disease
or a social problem, such as inadequate housing,
unemployment, a serious illness, a disability, or substance
abuse. Throughout her career she has assisted families that
have struggled everyday and she has helped many go up
against almost insurmountable odds and win. Previously, she
served as a long term care ombudsman advocating for long
term care residents and as a family caregiver advocate
assisting families providing care in the community. Her
experience provides an enormous foundation and network of
resources to help bring the kind of services which are so
desperately needed by so many in the exploding elder care
population. Mrs. Brown is a member in good standing of the
National Association of Social Workers, the National
Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the
North American Association of Christians in Social Work.

ABOUT US
GrAce
Ministries is an Horry
and Georgetown County based geriatric care management service dedicated to helping
our senior citizens grow old gracefully by taking advantage of all
that is available to them. Initial telephone consultation and
information is provided free of charge. Initial home assessment and
follow-up visits are billed on a sliding scale fee, based on the
senior’s income and ability to pay. GrAce will not deny service for inability to pay. GrAce
assists families in finding a multitude of services, including
assisted living, nursing homes, adult day care, private duty
nursing, care management and homecare. With participating providers
throughout Horry County and beyond, GrAce
identifies qualified eldercare service providers and product
suppliers who meet the specific needs for each family's individual
situation.
GrAce
Ministries employs
proprietary profiling technology and web-based marketing techniques,
and is a leading provider of qualified lead generation services
within the eldercare industry. GrAce
helps families identify the right type of care and services needed
by an aging relative or friend, highlighting both medical and
lifestyle needs, as well as budget and financing options.
After we determine the
needs and preferences of the aging family member, they are uniquely
matched with providers in our community who can potentially meet
their needs. The names of the matched providers are sent via e-mail
to the requesting individual. If requested, GrAce will
contact providers for you and assist in establishing services.

GrAce
Ministries'
faith-based mission is to help our neighbors to grow old
gracefully and with dignity, to live independently and age in
place if that is their wish. We will accomplish our mission by
supporting homebound seniors and their caregivers through
personal assessments, care management, advocacy and education
regarding available goods and services. Additionally, we will
encourage volunteerism and community involvement in the care of
our local aging population.

A
non-profit organization committed to enhancing the
well-being of the senior population of Horry and Georgetown Counties, support their
caregivers and help them live a fuller and a more complete life in their
senior years

Caring for a loved one in
your home or in theirs . . . is not only a challenge, but often calls
for lifestyle changes for you and your family. Caring for parents
can also be very rewarding and fulfilling. Helping a parent grow
into their twilight years is somewhat reminiscent of how they helped
you from birth to adulthood.
You
can feel confident knowing that you are being referred only to
qualified and licensed providers. Unlike other referral programs,
you are under NO OBLIGATION to buy anything, ever.
