Volunteers

No one who needs healthcare should be turned away from accessing services because of a lack of transportation.

JUST 2 RIDES A MONTH…….

Can help your neighbor maintain a healthy, independent life-style and make all the difference!

Neighbor to Neighbor, a program of GRACE (Gracefully Aging with Community Encouragement), provides support services for home-bound seniors and chronically ill or disabled adults in our community. Accessing healthcare is a major concern for many of our Senior Neighbors who want to remain independent in their own homes as long as possible.

Who are our Senior Neighbors?? He is 93 years old. His wife died in 2008 and his children do not live nearby. She is 83 years old and has difficulty with her vision. No family lives nearby to take her to the hairdresser or the grocery…trips that we take for granted.

Since our inception in 2008, requests for help have dramatically increased. Finding seniors who need our services is not the issue. Finding volunteers will to respond to the need for help is ongoing!
